Safety
Nothing takes a higher priority that the safety of our children. We are inspected twice per year by a visiting child care nurse and the fire department. These inspections are part of our Quality Rating System (QRS).
Our West 4th Street Center provides child care and preschool services for infants and preschool-aged children up to 5 years of age. We are licensed through the state by the Department of Human Services and participate in the Iowa Quality Rating System (QRS). For more information about QRS, please visit https://dhs.iowa.gov/iqrs.
All staff meet licensing regulations regarding employment. In addition, our teachers consistently attend training sessions to give your child the optimal Early Childhood learning experience. We participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Under this program all meals served to your child comply with the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) nutritional guidelines. Weekly menus are posted in each classroom on the parent bulletin board.
